Program Description

The Bachelor of Marketing, Tourism and Hospitality Management is a 4-year full time degree that prepares graduates for management positions in a wide variety of careers in the rapidly growing tourism industry.

Its strengths are its rigorous grounding in tourism and hospitality management, strategic management principles, startup business and business statistics; its hands-on industry training and employment experience; and its development of students’ leadership, management and communication skills.

In addition, the degree includes units that are contextualized to the PNG Industry and requirements. This enables the Papua New Guinean specialization in tourism and hospitality and have a further range of employment options in the field of marketing.

This program is offered on-line as well.

Program Objectives

Upon completion of this program students will have a rigorous grounding on: 

  1. understand the Papua New Guinea Tourism Industry. 
  2. Gain Hospitality management skills 
  3. Customer service excellence. 
  4. appreciate cultural diversity and demonstrate the ability to interact respectfully with individuals of other ethnic backgrounds. 
  5. Plan and organize and execute various types of events.
