About the Course
This Certificate in Airline Reservations, Fares and Ticketing provides you with the underpinning knowledge of ticketing principles and hands-on practical experience. The course focuses on three areas of study starting of with practical theory of the highly sought-after professional course. This course includes the following content:
- For Airfares Level 1, – You will learn how to search, find and select the correct fare for different passenger scenarios, familiarise with airline geography, construct passenger fares, discover airport city codes for numerous destinations around the world, the baggage allowance systems available to passengers and much more.
- For Airline Reservations, – You will also explore one of the most important aspect to Airline Reservations Passenger Name Records (PNRs) and Special Service Request (SSR) to request a specific service from the Airline in order to meet the Passengers needs such as meals, wheelchair assistance, frequent flyer and much more requests. You will also experience Other Service Information (OSI) to inform the Airline of Very Important Person (VIP) or Commercial Important Person (CIP) passengers will be boarding the Airline.
- For Fares, Pricing, Ticketing, and Electronic Miscellaneous Document – The second part of the Amadeus training course provides the knowledge to learn Airlines Fares, Availability, Fare Rules, Airline Pricing and lastly Miscellaneous Document.

Entry Requirements
Grade 12 or Grade 10 and/or 3 years work experience in relevant field.
Registration and Duration
Registration is open twice in a year, January and July In-take separately and the duration is 24 weeks/6 months.
Course Fees
K5,500.00 and K1,500 upfront payment on Registration.
Further Studies/Pathway
- MTI Diploma in Airlines Operations or MTI Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality.
This course has 10 Units selected to meet current workplace standards, and that of the local industry requirements.
